Zwevegem is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Heestert, Moen, Otegem, Sint-Denijs and Zwevegem proper. On January 1st, 2004 Zwevegem had a total population of 23,536 (11,617 males and 11,919 females). The total area is 63.24 kmē which gives a population density of 372.16 inhabitants per kmē.
