GNI is not GDP divided by population. GNI is a meaningful number whereas GDP is a bogus concoction used by Keynesians and monetarists to justify authoritarianism.

Cliff's figure is actually closer to the real US GNI for 2008 Kevin. GDP divided by pop = GNI. Your error is obvious. lol. Please check World Bank if you would like to double check and see the actual figures for yourself

This information is unfortunately inaccurate. I double checked these stats against World Bank 2000-2008. You should go there if you would like a more accurate picture of the figures. This site does offer a good comparison though as to what order the countries sit in internationally.

How old are these statistics? I divided current US GDP by current population and got a figure over 40% higher. ($46402.37)

Where is Taiwan on this list?

I search 'Taiwan' on your website, Taiwan's GDP per capita is $23,386.28. (http://www.nationmaster.com/country/tw-taiwan)

That is between Germany and France. So Taiwan should be ranked #15. I expect you to correct this obvious error as soon as possible.
