I would say the world average of 7.3 beds is probably the best number to shoot for.

I will be much grateful, if you please give an ideal figure for the bed availability per 1000 persons. Is it 3 per 1000 or more as I noticed it varies between countries, is there is general ideal figure or according to the economy.
I am in planning to study the ideal bed availabilty and the delay in addmission and occupancy rates in hospital and how to apply practical plan to improve the service. I will will be so grateful for study design for that. Thanks for your excelent previous article.
