level of resourcing of a nation's health care system.

Comparing healthcare spending with GDP can indicate the importance of health according to

government policy makers.



To compare priorities for government spending,

comparison should be made with spending in other

areas such as

education

and

security.



To gain a better overview of healthcare

resourcing, other resourcing indicators such as
