China does not release that kind of information, but conidering the one child rule I am sure it is quite high. There have also been countless reports of forced abortions in China. Another reason one must assume they have a high abortion rate is because many people want a boy to carry on the family line. If the ultrasound shows a girl, abort and try again. Disturbing to say the least. I would be willing to bet that if China did release such information, it would be completely outrageous. |

Close to 3 million abortions in a rich country like USA at number two on the list is disturbing...on the other hand i can come to terms with a developing country like Russia toping the list. Americans bow your head in shame! |

I am sure China would be leading the world by far if they ever released the ghastly figures. Some day their deeds done in secret will be made known - shouted from the mountain tops - revealed to the entire universe! God will not be mocked and his gift of life which continues to be thrown back in his face will find a day of justice is soon approaching! Woe to those who call Good evil and evil Good! If anyone thinks contraception is the answer to fewer abortions, let me tell you that chemical contraceptives kill many more babies than surgical abortion. Our current worldwide abortion holocaust is the fruit of contraception: the idea that you can have unbridled sex without consequences. Attempting to eliminate the physical consequences (pregnancy), has produced devastating consequences in the realm of other physical, spiritual,emotional,mental problems that have taken an enormous toll on society. |

This comment is to Kate (above) and people with such ignorant minds as such. Don't you know that contraception is abortion? To kill the baby after a few weeks or a few days.. What's the difference. All the countries above should be ashamed. The selfishness in the world is beyond imagination. I pray that God will have mercy on the entire world. |
