[edit] Personal Information

Christoph Schneider was born on May 11, 1966 in Berlin, East Germany. Schneider was the oldest of seven children in his family, which consisted of a brother and five sisters. Schneider started playing music in school, where he played trumpet. In 1980, when Christoph was 14, his brother gave him a drum made out of aluminum cans. This sparked his interest in drums, and helped him pursue his dream of being a musician. When he was 16, Christoph was out of High School, and started to work as a telecommunication assistant. He bought his first pair of drums, which he has since said were of very poor quality and needed to be repaired constantly. In 1984, he entered the East German Military, and he is the only group member in Rammstein to serve in the military. is the 131st day of the year (132nd in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. ...
