The CR+C uses an earlier version of the Rosicrucian Monographs issued by AMORC before the 1990 schism, with CR+C Imperator Stewart's annotations. According to Stewart, these earlier monographs preserve unique philosophical and spiritual contributions of AMORC'S founder, Harvey Spencer Lewis, which had been edited out of the post-1990 revised monographs by AMORC.
