His first real commercial exposure was as a street dancer in the movie Flashdance (he also appears as a heavily disguised body double for Jennifer Beals in the final dance audition), which is where he got the nickname "Sexy legs." however he has appeared in many movies including Beat Street, Wild Style, and Style Wars just to mention a few.
