The main Daimaru department store is located in the Shinsaibashi district of Osaka. Other stores are located in Umeda (Osaka), Shimonoseki (SHIMONOSEKI DAIMARU CO.,LTD.), Yaesu (Tokyo), Kyoto, Kobe, Ashiya, and Sapporo. In late '70s, Daimaru was the first Japanese department store opened in Thailand. Branches in Hong Kong were closed during the 1990s.
