Personal life Masterson was born in Albertson, New York, the son of Carol (his manager) and Peter Masterson, a State Farm Insurance agent [1]. The two divorced in 1984 [2]. He has a younger brother, Christopher Masterson, who portrayed the unruly Francis (oldest brother) in Malcolm in the Middle. His other younger siblings are: younger paternal half-brother, Will Masterson (who attends the University of Southern California); younger maternal half-brother Jordan Reaiche (pronounced Reesh); and a maternal younger half-sister named Alanna Reaiche. Alanna appeared in an episode of Malcolm in the Middle and was on Y&R as Colleen Cecile Carlton in 1994–1995. Jordan and Alanna's dad Joe Reaiche (who was a famous professional Rugby League player back in Sydney Australia; raised Danny and his brother Chris as well.
