Jon Gruden (born August 17, 1963 in Sandusky, Ohio) is the current head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL. Gruden prepped at Clay High School in South Bend, Indiana, where his father Jim Gruden served as an assistant to Dan Devine at Notre Dame University. Gruden resuscitated the moribund Raiders. After uniting with journeyman quarterback Rich Gannon, a mobile and cerebral veteran, the Raiders catapulted into the top of the AFC and made the playoffs three straight seasons.
