After touring on the independent ciruit for a few years, Kai returned to the WWF, repackaged as the one half of the platinum haired tag-team The Glamour Girls (with Judy Martin). The duo appeared at the first Survivor Series in 1987. Kai & Martin (managed by Jimmy Hart) would feud for much of 1988 with Japanese imports the Jumping Bomb Angels for the reactivated WWF Women's Tag Team Championship. The two teams staged an epic 2 out of 3 falls match at the first Royal Rumble event in 1988, with the Bomb Angels capturing the gold. In a backstage skit, Fyre and Storm have a wardrobe squabble and a food fight breaks out, and security breaks it up. The view focuses on another woman (Kai), who was watching this and apparently started choking after laughing at what was going on while eating at the same time.
