Swami Muktananda (स्‍वामी मुक्तानन्‍द) (1908-1982) is the monastic name of an Indian guru. He was a devotee of Bhagawan Nityananda. He wrote a number of books, including the autobiography The Play of Consciousness. Some former members of Siddha Yoga have accused Muktananda of abusive behaviour which is at odds with his teachings.
