Biography Of Irish, Swedish, Norwegian and German descent, Sullivan was born in Manhattan to Madonna and Edward C. Sullivan (no relation to Ed Sullivan of The Ed Sullivan Show). She took dance classes at the age of seven, and performed in Off Broadway and Broadway productions with the First All-Children’s Theatre. Madonna, an antiques dealer, and Ed, a politician who represented Manhattan's 69th Assembly District in the New York State Assembly from 1977 to 2002 (possibly accounting for Nicole's interest in politics), wanted to raise her and her sister Jennifer in a quieter environment, and moved the family upstate to Middleburgh, New York in 1982. While at middle school, she did well enough academically to skip a grade, and later at high school was president of her class during her senior year. She was also treasurer in her junior year. Nicole played soccer in high school, recorded statistics for the boys’ basketball team and was a member of student council. After graduating as Middleburgh High School's class valedictorian in 1987, Nicole attended Northwestern University as a theatre major. She studied William Shakespeare, Harold Pinter, Anton Chekov, Henrik Ibsen, and Greek tragedies, all the while working two jobs to pay her way through college and writing plays and sketches for the student theatre. Sullivan spent her junior year in London studying at the British American Drama Academy and became a member of the Greenwich Shakespeare Company. Sullivan graduated Northwestern with honors, then moved to Los Angeles to write for and perform in comedy clubs and theatres with improv and sketch comedy troupes before getting sporadic guest starring roles. On May 12, 2007, Sullivan gave birth to son, Dashel Pierce Packham, via c-section. He weighed 8lb. 12oz. Manhattan is a borough of New York City, New York, USA, coterminous with New York County. ...
