J.S. Eswara Prasad of Hyderabad is one such artiste who has innovatively chosen a new path in classical dancing by performing to the accompaniment of Sampradaya Bhajans.
Prasad performed at Poonkunnam, Thrissur, to the musical accompaniment of Udayaloor Kalyanaraman, A.K. Rajasimhan and O.S. Sunder, in connection with the annual Bhajanotsavam.
As the emphasis is on devotion, the artiste prefers to tone down the make-up and costumes for this piece.
After the completion of the basic course it is advised that the 'Sudarsan Kriya' in its short form (duration is about ten minutes) is practiced daily.
As an extension after the basic course 'Sudarsan Kriya' in its complete form is conducted in the 'AOL' hall west end supermarket building Poonkunnam every Sunday in two sessions at 7.15 A.M and 8.45A.M, and on every alternate Monday at 5.30 P.M as a follow up to the course, which is acknowledged as very useful.
Every Thursday from 6.30 P.M on wards there is a satsang arranged in the hall where one can sing his heart out or get immersed in the divine melodies, of any religion.
