His father was the late actor Lewis Arquette who died in 2001 due to congestive heart failure and who was well known as "J. D. Pickett" on the TV series, The Waltons, and his grandfather was the late comic actor Cliff Arquette, best remembered for his "Charley Weaver" character, a fixture on the original Hollywood Squares; his late mother, Mardi Nowak, was Jewish and died in 1997 due to breast cancer.
