There are two schools, Silverstone County Infants' School, and Silverstone Church of England Junior School. The Methodist Chapel is on Murswell Lane. St. Michael's Church (CofE) is on Stocks Hill, at the centre of the Village. The vicar is the Rev. Bridget Smith. Also on Stock's Hill, are The White Horse PH and Croft's Stores, a friendly family run business which stocks everything bar the kitchen sink. (But they do have sink plugs and u-bends). On the High Street is the Post Office, and on the Main Road is the Royal Oak PH[closed] and the butcher's shop. |
