Notes

According to White, the idea for this story came in a dream while he was sleeping on the train. Many people were expecting a second book; however, it was never written. The reason for such an abrupt ending was White's hypochondria. He thought he was going to die soon, so he ended the book in order to get it published before his death. Hypochondria (or hypochondriasis, sometimes referred to as health anxiety/health phobia) refers to an excessive preoccupation or worry about having a serious illness. ...

In 2005 a book was published to celebrate the sixty years of Stuart Little. The book was hardbound.

Quote

"When Mrs. Frederick C. Little's second son arrived, everybody noticed that he was not much bigger than a mouse."

Stuart Little (film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (238 words)
Stuart Little is a 1999 live-action film, based on the novel of the same name.
Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie star as Eleanor and Fredrick Little, with Jonathan Lipnicki as Stuart's big brother George and Nathan Lane as the voice as the family cat Snowbell.
The same goes for Snowbell who attempts to eat Stuart upon his arrival in "The Little House" and goes to Smokey (whose dialogue sounds similar to that of Don Vito Corleone) (Chazz Palminteri), the boss cat who arranges for Stuart to be "scratched out" (killed).
