English translation
Repeat, O World, my song. Echo it over and over again. Remember, through my joy, each martyr. Clothe him with the shining mantles Of our festival. Repeat, O World, my song. In faith and love I 'll be forever. An Arab I am in all my life. My heart beats in tune with Yemen. No foreigner shall dominate over Yemen.

The United Arab Republic (UAR) (Arabic: لجمهورية العربية المتحدة - al jumhuriya al-'arabia al-muttahida) was the state formed by the union between the republics of Egypt and Syria in 1958.
The Republic was a unitary state, and the preeminence of Nasser together with Egypt's demographic and political dominance meant that it was effectively under Egyptian control.
The United Arab States was a much looser confederation, established between the UAR and North Yemen.
