He has discovered a number of asteroids.


The asteroid 4364 Shkodrov is named after him.

Vladimir Georgiev Shkodrov (Владимир Георгиев Шкодров) (born February 10 1930) is a Bulgarian astronomer.
Shkodrov has discovered a number of asteroids, including the Apollo asteroid 4486 Mithra, which he and Eric Elst discovered on September 22, 1987.
The asteroid 4364 Shkodrov, discovered on November 7, 1978 by Eleanor Helin and Schelte Bus, is named after Shkodrov.
