At 40.29 Percent in 2017, the country was ranked number 26 among other countries in Female Share of Graduates from STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in Tertiary Education. Sri Lanka is overtaken by Romania, which was number 25 at 41.56 Percent and is followed by Azerbaijan with 40.07 Percent. Tunisia topped the ranking with 58.07 Percent in 2017, that is an increase of 6.7points versus 2016. Algeria, Benin and Oman respectively ranked number 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Benin witnessed the best average annual growth at +29points per year, while Lesotho was the worst growing country at -8.2points per year.
