In 2016, the country was number 11 comparing other countries in Prevalence of Underweight at 20.5 Percent of Children Under 5. Sri Lanka is overtaken by Ethiopia, which was number 10 at 21.1 Percent of Children Under 5 and is followed by Mauritania at 19.2 Percent of Children Under 5. Niger lead the ranking with 36.9 Percent of Children Under 5 in 2019, a fall of 1.6points compared to 2018. India, Sudan and Chad respectively ranked number 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Kuwait recorded the best 5 years average growth at +12points per year, while Kazakhstan witnessed the worst performance at -11.6points per year.
