Taiwan is overtaken by France, which was ranked number 5 at 22.87 Billion Cubic Meters and is followed by Spain at 21.95 Billion Cubic Meters. Japan topped the ranking with 105.49 Billion Cubic Meters in 2019, a decrease of 6.6% versus 2018. China, South Korea and India respectively ranked number 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Thailand witnessed the best average annual growth at +29.3% per year, while Argentina recorded the worst performance at -22.6% per year.
