Recognition of Abkhazia and South Ossetia Foreign Minister Per Stig M\u00f8ller declared "unconditional support for Georgia's territorial integrity". Aligning itself with Russia, South Korea 's President Lee Myung-bak signed a joint declaration with Russia which stated that the two countries shared "a common assessment of Georgia's invasion of South Ossetia."
