COLOMBIA IS A HIDDEN GEM
16th May 2011
I HAVE TRAVELED TO COLOMBIA ALOT RECENTLY AND CAN HONESTLY STATE THAT COLOMBIA IS A HIDDEN GEM AND IN A WAY GOOD THAT NOT EVERYONE TAKES THE TIME TO LOOK INTO THE BEAUTIES AND OPPORTUNITIES THAT THIS COUNTRY HAD TO OFFER. THIS WAY IT STAYS PURE AND NOT RUINED. EVERY COUNTRY HAS IT'S FLAWS BUT THE ONLY RISK IN COLOMBIA IS LOVING IT AND NOT WANTING TO LEAVE.

You should get more recent statistics... if you look at the crime rates in Colombia over the last 7 years you will see that murders, kidnappings and overall crime has been drastically reduced. If you want to be considered a serious source of information, you should update your sources more frequently.

Mr. Baron,

Sorry to say that your website has a 1988 posting date with no statistics at all. It does however explain how the country came to be.

I was looking for crime data for years 2003-2007.

I'm Chief of Criminologycal investigation Center of Colombian National Police. This office is the official statistics source (in criminals matters)in Colombia. I read yours figures and saw that some of them are not real, so , I would like to know which are your sources? We have everything about crime in our web site.
