Hi Michelle - you might want to see the profile of San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, as well as Santa Ana. However, the main attractions of El Salvador is its wilderness, such as the Montecristo Cloud Forest and the Cerro Verde National Park, and sites of historical interest, such as the Mayan ruins of Tazumal. Also see: http://www.elsalvadortrade.com.sv/conozcanos/i_html/lugares.html. All the links here also lead to descriptions of transportation arrangements and related matters.
