Sierra Leone is one of a cluster of states on the north west reaches of the continent. It’s also one of the most modestly sized, with a population of just over 5.4 million and a capital in Freetown that has just 1.3 million. Nevertheless, it’s almost 2 million bigger that Liberia, which lies on its eastern border (306km) and around half the population of Guinea (652km), to its north.
This website is terrible, I received no useful information and I hope whoever created this website gets banned from the internet. I wanted to learn about present day Sierra Leone and I get this? Its ridiculous I obviously already know about the civil war that happened like 3 billion years ago.

Majority of the countries which were colonized by the western powers and got freedom in mid twentieth century have not been able to have a stable indigenous government. Military coups and corruption are the hall mark. How long will it take when these countries learn to have responsible governments and after installing governments learn to let them work is any one's guess.
