This is shit. There was no Bangladesh in 1820.

These figures come from the data set of 56 countries compiled by Maddison. The UK figures have been omitted by the compiler of this site. The UK was indeed the richest in 1820 at $1756 (1990 international dollars)

Tho omission of Britain seems strange, since it was probably the richest country in the world at that time.
