maddison's data is pretty close to this data. In that dataset, the UK would have been 7th in 1950.

South Korea and North Korea had war going on in 1950s, which made South Korea one of poorest country in the world. And South Korea ranks #38 in 1950? Ridiculous

The United Kingdom is the glaring omission from your historical GDP per capita listing. To suggest the UK did not make it into the Top 55 economies in 1950 is ridiculous to the point of absurd.
