The 1995 Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study collected educational achievement data in mathematics and science for students from 41 countries. Sixteen of these countries participated in the advanced mathematics section. These test results show the mean score for students in their final year of secondary education who had taken advanced mathematics courses such as calculus, trigonometry, higher levels of algebra or geometry, or other higher level mathematics courses.

The test questions covered primarily the content areas of equations and functions, calculus, and geometry. For further information see the Advanced mathematics component of the TIMSS report.
