Why don't you have the number of Mc Donald's restaurants in Brazil available ? Brazil has lots of Mc Donald's restaurants, I think that more than 100 Brazilian cities have Mc Donald's. Probably there are more than 400 Mc Donald's restaurants in Brazil. |

In a book titled “The Lexus and the Olive Tree”, New York Times foreign affairs columnist Thomas Friedman put forth “The Golden Arches Theory of Conflict Prevention.” This theory stated that no two nations with at least one McDonald’s franchise have ever gone to war. The premise behind the theory is that countries with a McDonald’s are usually fairly developed and wealthy, and wealthy countries rarely go to war with each other. When the first edition of Friedman’s book was printed, the theory was true. Since then, however, NATO has bombed Serbia. Serbia had one McDonald’s at that time. Most or all of the members of NATO also have McDonald’s restaurants. |
