It's interesting that Italy is the most left-leaning nation yet its people rank second highest for confidence in companies and the second highest rate for believing men should have job priority during a recession. Although the context of each country would explain the attitude to the women's issue on job priority, you'd think "left" would generally mean bring critical of or hostile to companies.

If these criteria are enough to be considered far left, I don't think the Swedes participating in the survey were aware of that. Considering how different parties are doing in general elections here, more than 50% would fit into that description. Far left to Swedes means to be a revolutionary communist.

In Pakistan, of the 2,000 respondents questioned in this survey, 87.7% said they did not know; only one person out of the 2,000 placed themselves in the '1' (far left) position on the political scale.
