Where taxation is concerned Jamaica is really bad. Income tax is 25% of total pay and only one of many taxes taken directly from salary. Others include health and education taxes, regular tax on stuff bought in stores through the general consumption tax, which is 15%.

And where migration is concerned, Jamaica may be the only country which has more native people living outside of the country than in.

If you added GST as a form of tax in Australia (since GST is a charge on almost everything). What would be the rank of Australia in total tax?
