Uganda - HIV Incidence

Since 2014, Uganda HIV Incidence decreased by 9points year on year. At 2.61 Percent of Uninfected Population Aged 15-49 in 2019, the country was number 11 among other countries in HIV Incidence. Uganda is overtaken by Malawi, which was ranked number 10 with 3.71 Percent of Uninfected Population Aged 15-49 and is followed by Tanzania at 2.57 Percent of Uninfected Population Aged 15-49. Lesotho topped the ranking with 11.35 Percent of Uninfected Population Aged 15-49 in 2019, a decrease of 4.1points versus 2018. Swaziland, Mozambique and Botswana respectively ranked number 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Egypt witnessed the best average annual growth at +17.6points per year, while Swaziland recorded the worst performance at -17.5points per year.
