I refuse to believe that the people of Malta have such high mortality rates in such a broad range of types of deaths and diseases. Could it be that it has high levels of reporting? For a country with high living standards, high longevity stats and high rates of contentment, it seems paradoxical that Malta has such high mortality rates.

Hi Chris, these are 'bottom rankings'! Malta has the LOWEST -- going up to the SIXTH LOWEST -- mortality rates for all the diseases listed here! Your pride in Malta is totally justified!
