I am very much surprised with the statistics of Nepal posted in this webpage as 'latest data'. The statistics on IMR, CPR ad MMR and not only surprising, but also misleading. The very much high quality and well accepted data of Demographic Health Survey (DHS) of 2006 has shown that the MMR is 281 per 100000 live births and IMR is 48 per 1000 live births. More than that the latest Maternal Mortality and Morbidity data of 2008/09 showed that the current MMR is 229 per 100000 live births. It has been supported by several other sample surveys.

I want clarification on the issue. It is really misleading information and a serious issue.
