Romania holds the distinction of the only European country to share a border with the same neighbor on two separate frontiers; Ukraine to the north (326km) and the east (169km). Moldova break their frontier line for 450km. It’s other neighbors are Serbia (476km), Bulgaria (608km) and Hungary (443km).

I have lived in Romania and seen it from the inside. It really is a wonderful place where history and the modern day collide.
