these stats are not quite correct. Iran does not export 2.5 barrels per day. it's 2.5 million barrels. check cia world fact book!

Here are some corrections:

Angola is # 15 it exports 700,000 barrels a day

Venezuela is # 5 it exports about 1,900,000 barrels a day

Iran 2.5 barrels a day not plausible

Aside from the lack of Venezuela on here, which, according to your own source (CIA Factbook), exports 2.1 million bpd and would be ranked fifth, your numbers on Iran are just plain wrong. The Factbook says Iran exports 2.5 MILLION barrels per day, putting it fourth on your list. Common sense should tell you that 2.5 barrels per day is really low.

...there shoudl be something wrong there...why Venezuela is not listed?. As far as I know the southamerican country is producing around 3 million barrels a day....

Norway, the third largest exporter of oil world-wide and the only developed nation to export more than a million barrels a day, has gone to great lengths to reign in its personal consumption of oil. According to an article in the New York Times (April 30, 2005) Norwegians pay US$6.66 per gallon (US$1.76 per litre) for car fuel, almost three times as much as US consumers. For this reason the Oil Consumption Per Capita is only two-thirds that of the US, yet still the tenth highest in the world. Norway's policies on the price of oil stand in contrast to the United States, where President Bush made cheaper gas prices a priority during a discussion on energy policy. Perhaps that is why the per capita CO2 emissions (a main contributor to global warming) for Norway are just over a third that of the US.
