In general, countries which consider people with A.I.D.S to be undesirable neighbours also consider other groups such as criminal record holders, people of a different race to their own, drug addicts,
emotionally unstable people, heavy drinkers, homosexuals,
immigrants and political extremists to be undesirable neighbours.



Switzerland is an exception as all of the above groups are considered undesirable by at most 40% of the population, however people with A.I.D.S. are considered undesirable by an overwhelming majority (88%).
