Dominican Crime Stats

Background:

Not to be confused with the Dominican Republic on the island of Hispaniola, the tiny Caribbean island of Dominica understandably doesn't have a major crime problem, but with more than 7,800 crimes reported in 2002. Indeed, its prisoner population is just 298 but with a just 6 judges and magistrates on the island and one jail, it does mean there is a shocking over excess of prison capacity, at 143.3%.
