Background:

Morocco virtually annexed the northern two-thirds of Western Sahara (formerly Spanish Sahara) in 1976, and the rest of the territory in 1979, following Mauritania's withdrawal. A guerrilla war with the Polisario Front contesting Rabat's sovereignty ended in a 1991 UN-brokered cease-fire; a UN-organized referendum on final status has been repeatedly postponed.

Sorry Slappedy, but you're wrong - only a small percent actually live in the desert; most people live in the capital, and they import many foods from other tropical countries.

Where do most pp in the sahara live? cos its like, wouldnt they all kind of burn to death if they just had to stay out in the desert so there must b like towms n stuff but i cant find any ingo on google bout it.
