With a declining population, which is set to fall by 14.48% by 2050, it is logical to expect that the nation's 0-14 age group would be low, but in fact it is amongst the lowest in world. At just 13.8% in 2008, it was ranked 215th. Ironically, in 2003, with the age group representing a larger 14.9% actually ranking Germany lower at 220th place. So far, it is the male population in the age group that is reducing most, with 0-14 year old males falling from 6.3 million to 5.8 million between 2003 and 2008, while 0-14 year old females reduced from 5.9 million to 5.5 million.Germany Population Pyramid for 1995
