This statistics clearly says that European countries needs "ISLAM" to reduce the rape statistics & other crimes

The reason that the US is so high is simple. The US, Canada and a few European countries are the only countries where a majority of the rapes ARE reported. Whereas in countries such as Pakistan, a woman runs the danger of being killed by her own family if she does report it. I'd venture to say that 99% of the rapes in 99% of the countries are NOT REPORTED. Its pretty easy to skew the statistics when the US is the only country reporting them.

This is fake statistic.. Why I can't find country like Philippines, China and etc in the list? Where infact Philippines is one of the most rape cases occur.

Why are Canada's and Australia's figures so high? On a per capita basis they must make it into the top 5 countries in the world.

In response to Pteridude:

At first glance the United States appears to stand out as it has significantly more rapes than other countries. This is misleading however as the United States also has a significantly higher population.

To take the population into account click the per capita link at the top of this page. Under per capita ranking, the United States falls to number 9 and the rate is only one quarter of that of South Africa. which has the highest per capita rate.

In response to 'DudeReloaded' - The US Government Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (in 2002) reports that the military in Myanmar (Burma) is using rape as a weapon against civilian populations in the ethnic regions of the country. But, officially, crime is very low in Myanmar (Burma) and falling. Strictly monitored by a military government, the veracity of the reports are questionable. Reporting and monitoring of crime in democratic Thailand, on the other hand, is known to be effective.

According to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network (RAINN) Statistics website , there were 247,730 victims of rape, attempted rape or sexual assault in the United States in 2002. Approximately 87,000 of these were victims of completed rape.

Probability statistics compiled by the National Center for Policy Analysis from Department of Justice statistics reveal that in the U.S. there is a 50.8 percent chance that an arrest will be made if a rape is reported. Eighty percent of those arrested for rape are prosecuted and 58 percent of those prosecuted are convicted. If there is a conviction, there is a 69 percent chance that the perpetrator will be jailed.

In 2001, only 39 percent of rapes and sexual assaults in the U.S. were reported to police. When unreported rapes are taken into account, it is estimated that only 6 percent of U.S. rapists (one out of 16) will ever spend a day in jail.
