DEFINITION
GDP at purchaser's prices is the sum of gross value added by all resident producers in the economy plus any product taxes and minus any subsidies not included in the value of the products. It is calculated without making deductions for depreciation of fabricated assets or for depletion and degradation of natural resources. Data are in current U.S. dollars. Dollar figures for GDP are converted from domestic currencies using single year official exchange rates. For a few countries where the official exchange rate does not reflect the rate effectively applied to actual foreign exchange transactions, an alternative conversion factor is used. Per capita figures expressed per 1 population

I like to use this website especially to help my daughter with her homework. Your statistics should be a little more updated though. I do find it quite aggrivating when they ask for the present year, and the most recent year you have is four years ago.

I've travelled a lot to rich and poor countries and am convinced that GDP per capita is only a very inaccurate measure of the well being of people - It is only one measure and a very, very rough one, that needs a many other measures to quialify it - by itself it's pure bullshit

The figure for Bermuda seems very wrong. The New York Times website, from which I linked to this website, gives it as $69,900.

Great data, but a bit hard to navigate.
I found this site to have easier navigation, and it included economic analysis as well as stats.
However it has less data and is still in beta. It is on EconomyWatch.com, called the Economic Statistics Database.
Here is the link: http://www.economywatch.com/economic-statistics/

Excellent depth of data, but I do find Nationmaster a bit hard to use.
A new service in beta that has less data, but is easier to use and has economic analysis together with the data points, can be found here:

Excellent depth of stats here, but I do find the site a bit hard to use.
There is a new service which doesn't yet have much data, but which I have found easier to use. It includes analysis of economic figures as well as the data. You can find it here:
