Thank so much Skydrake3 for the link to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_vehicles_per_capita

According to Statistics Institute of Turkey(TUIK) there are 15 million vehicles registered in Turkey in the end of 2010. We also know that the population of the country is around 70-80 million. So the Turkey's ratio should be around 0.200 but it is marked 67 mv per 1000 p=0.067. I don't
think the table is completely accurate. There may be other mistakes.

Germany is not included....
so the correlation between ecological footprint and motor vehicles per person cannot be made, or is probably higher than the 82% which are estimated here, because Germany has a population of an amount at ranking place 16 of the world, and about 573,03 per 1000people.

Table is not accurate. Is it out of 100 or 1000 people? What year is it for? And the last time I saw on TV the capital of Afghanistan was packed with cars with American soldiers moving around them acting as traffic police while this table says there are 0 vehicles in that country.

What year is this for?

I second the comment asking if this is not per 1000 rather than per 100 people. Just do the gut check... it would mean about 7.5 cars per person in the US if this was right, but about three-quarters of a car per person in the US. Considering that driving age is 16 to 17 years of age in the US, less than one car per person makes more sense than over 7.
