- Gender parity index: Country's gender parity index for secondary level enrollment. For countries with a rating of over 1, more females are enrolled while countries with a rating under 1 have more males enrolled.
- Lower Secondary > Students per teacher: Number of students per teacher for lower secondary (middle school) education.
- Lower Secondary > Trained teachers > Both sexes: Percentage of all lower secondary level (middle school) teachers with at least the minimum level of traning required to teach at the lower secondary level.
- Lower Secondary > Trained teachers > Men: Percentage of male lower secondary level (middle school) teachers with at least the minimum level of traning required to teach at the lower secondary level.
