- Female rural population: Total number of females living in rural areas by country.
- Female rural population per thousand people: Total number of females living in rural areas by country. Figures expressed per thousand people for the same year.

The UN definition for city proper varies for each country but usually refers to a locality with legal boundaries, some form of local government and does not include its outlying suburbs and districts. Numbers only include cities proper with a population over 100,000.
