The retrieved content is then compared and scanned for discrepancies. Possible differences in blocking behavior across different ISPs is considered, as well as normal connectivity problems.

  • Price basket for Internet > US$ per month: Price basket for Internet is calculated based on the cheapest available tariff for accessing the Internet 20 hours a month (10 hours peak and 10 hours off-peak). The basket does not include the telephone line rental but does include telephone usage charges if applicable. Data are compiled in the national currency and converted to U.S. dollars using the annual average exchange rate.
