Definitions
- Total: Total number of airports with useable unpaved runways (grass, dirt, sand, or gravel surfaces)
- Total > Per capita: Total number of airports with useable unpaved runways (grass, dirt, sand, or gravel surfaces) Per capita figures expressed per 1 million population.
- Total per million: Total number of airports with useable unpaved runways (grass, dirt, sand, or gravel surfaces). Figures expressed per million population for the same year.
- Under 914 m: Total number of airports with useable unpaved runways (grass, dirt, sand, or gravel surfaces), categorised according to the length of the longest runway
- Under 914 m per million: Total number of airports with useable unpaved runways (grass, dirt, sand, or gravel surfaces), categorised according to the length of the longest runway. Figures expressed per million population for the same year.
