Definitions
- Concessional debt > % of total external debt: Concessional debt to total external debt stocks. Concessional debt is defined as loans with an original grant element of 25 percent or more.
- Debt service > PPG and IMF only > % of > Exports > Excluding workers: Debt service is the sum of principle repayments and interest actually paid in foreign currency, goods, or services. This series differs from the standard debt to exports series. It covers only long-term public and publicly guaranteed debt and repayments (repurchases and charges) to the IMF. Exports of goods and services include income, but do not include workers' remittances. Data for Heavily Indebted Poor Countries (HIPC) are from HIPC Initiative's Status of Implementation Report."
